Punisher by Greg Rucka — Enter the War Zone
Greg Rucka · Marco Checchetto · Matthew Clark · Carmine Di Giandomenico
Story era 10 · The Heroic Age and the Incursions
Rucka and Checchetto build a finite Earth-616 crime story that carries Frank Castle’s conflict through War Zone.
Setup & reading order
- After The Punisher (2011) #9
Read The Omega Effect as Avenging Spider-Man #6 → The Punisher #10 → Daredevil #11. If the crossover was already read in Waid Omnibus Vol. 1, skip all three duplicate issues here rather than rereading them.
- After The Punisher (2011) #16
Finish with Punisher: War Zone (2012) #1–5.
Optional context & path
Path: Punisher, Earth-616. Related projects that read well in this order; the order is a suggestion, not a requirement.
Useful background and earlier stops: Punisher: Welcome Back, Frank · Daredevil by Waid & Samnee.
Only required setup and earlier volumes in the same project affect the queue. Everything here is optional.
